Nestled in the Lombardy region of the Italian Alps this family friendly resort offers great skiing suitable for all budgets and with a wonderful nightlife.

Thanks to its high altitude the resort is pretty snow-sure with a long season that lasts from the last Saturday in November to the first Saturday in May.

The village is nestled between two mountains with three prominent ski areas; Mottolino, Costaccia and Carosello 3000. The Livigno ski pass includes all 3 areas including the snow parks based at Mottolino and Carosello 3000. Both sides of the ski area are linked by free buses, but not by the slopes. The main terrain park is world class and has hosted many international competitions – the resort will host the freestyle and snowboarding events of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

Livigno has managed to retain its rustic charm, culture and is still very much a traditional mountain resort as one would expect in northern Italy and Austria. Livigno is still a duty-free ski resort, so your extras such as drinks and meals as well as fantastic shopping will be at affordable prices. The bustling traffic-free centre offers good value shops and designer boutiques . A variety of vibrant cafes, rustic bars and good restaurants provide many après-ski options. Husky sledding, snowshoe walking and horse riding are just some of the non-ski activities available and the impressive Aquagranda Spa centre is well worth a visit.

Accommodation is found along a 4km road with low rise buildings built mainly in traditional chalet style. There’s a roughly 1km long car-free pedestrian zone that forms the hub of the village. Accommodation offered is everything from Pensions (B&B) to hotels and self-catering apartments.

We have a resort representative who will meet you and assist you with ski rental fitting. They will deliver your ski pass and do a quick resort orientation tour. The representative will also be able to assist you with reservations of ski activities, etc.
